WOW. I have been working full time for a couple of days. I set up a basic forum and a basic market place, they both need some customizing still, but getting them this far seems like jumping some hurdles.
I also got all the Spot sections up and added at least one sample article in each category. Plus the WIKI now works for the instruments category. What now is missing is to figure out how to allow users to edit their own pages and to create tabbed content in the Spots.

>The blog has been added.
Today I have added the Blog to FolkFreak. I will use it to keep visitors and users updated on what's happening here. Right now I am working my azz off, hoping to launch the new site in a not too distant future.
I will offer free profiles to anyone who works with folk music, ethnic music or world music. You may be a musician, an instrument maker, music label, shop, teacher, venue , festival or whatever. As long as your work has relevance for the music we share, I invite you to join.
Setting up a profile is free, and you will be granted the right to edit your profile as you please.
Our missison is to make music with roots more visible. >
